Space Invaders-
Not aliens in the traditional sense, instead actual invaders of personal space. We all dislike having our sacred shrines and special places intruded upon, but there are times when that kind of thing just can’t be helped. Unfortunately, no amount of cellophane or tin foil will keep people out forever, and any parahuman with omniscience can totally see you during your most private moments. Our only real defense is prevention, reaction, observation, boundaries, and extra signage… or PROBE for short. PROBE your pets, PROBE your parents, PROBE your siblings, friends, teachers, and especially your enemies. PROBE everyone!

Food Fact – Es’u’s kim chi will not be the tastiest thing ever made. In fact, you should probably run when he opens it.

The nomination for the night goes to Dan and Nicole, for sex talks.

Good qualities put their footprints everywhere.

The Prophecy for the Stars’ Chosen

  • A Really Terrible Translation:

Beware a supernatural cheerleader during the night of the sulfur horse.
A cat will aggravate a cheerleader.
Cats will write letters. The hammer of the gods will have skin of a hornet.
Found in the library of a long-deceased prophet:
A scientist will battle a cursed seer.
The fate of the people depends on the outcome.
Beware a wild thief during the revival of the mink chimp.
Hear my warning and heed well!
You must never marry a hedgehog.
The air will grow heavy if you break this geas.
A snake will eat at the table of a mortal.
The streets will smell of death. The world healer will light a pig.
The snake of the woman of the empire will revive the man of the north.
The empire of the plain is given to the warrior.
The griffin of the prince will restore the star.

  • The Actual Prophecy:

Post-Men, they say,
Dominators
Slayers
Conquerors

We have been subjugated by their culture and rules
The norms and the religions of godlike fools
The laws and the clowns/fools
The world one day will evolve

We who have the curves and seductive smiles
Are we nknowledge and untie our bonds
We shall rise up, making empires strong

When we are embraced, for who we are
Do you not see? We shall gleam like the stars in the night
Colors, nations too
Leave them sitting in old Sectus pews

Philosophers, doctors, engineers of creation
We shall be side by side, working with you
So smile and behold the new golden age
Suras must die, in the deserts of past sage

Sisters and children of the suns, the gods, and the wind
The ancients of the past must rescind
Glories are coming, so rejoice and behold
Children of many stars shall tell
the greatest story ever told

The nomination goes to Justin for doing stuff hard!

Communication is Important

Thank you mass communication for the many things that we have at our fingertips for talking with each other. The key to this wonderful technology is, of course, picking up the darned things and using them. Now, we all know that from time to time that we can’t be bothered to pay attention to our communication devices, cause sometimes it just feels like it starts to control our every action. This of course isn’t at all true, so keep that in mind when you think about friends and family and all the things that they probably want to talk to you about.

Save the King

Alumni Kimberly King is a well known damsel in distress, and one hell of a reporter. Today found her office molested by crazy interns. It is assumed that one of those crazy interns threw her desk out of her fourteenth story window. Thankfully the “Super Sentai” was there to save the day.

The nomination for the night goes to Casey and Justin. Funny, Justin Kase-y

An Apology
by Dillan Steele

“_I’m Sorry_

I would like to apologize for the events that happened Friday at the football game. This was supposed to be just a small little harmless prank. There were way more fireworks than could be predicted. I would like to apologize and remain anonymous. I’m sorry."

The Game

After the antics from the early part of the game, the Bulldogs weren’t doing so well. At some point they picked up more confidence and headed toward victory. The team still didn’t do as good as they could have, but they did some amazing work out there, and we are all proud of them. Hopefully, the positive attitude sticks around for the seasons to come.

The nomination tonight goes to Justin for many varied antics.

Memorial Day Elections

The elections are today along with a really big school assembly to celebrate our nation’s military and to give our Senior class politicians a chance to give their speeches. The most notable speeches of the day came from the electric performance of Trey Ehlis with the dance of her people, Dick Reimann with a lot of crude jokes that made the Principle turn purple, and the special appearance by Gavin Gagner on big screen with a special message about drug addiction.

Winners -
Secretary – Tyson Teralt
Treasurer – Richard “Dick” Reimann
Ambassador – Tra’amut Ehlis
Vice President – Ben Belt
President – Leif Laiche

Let Freedom Ring

While the political parade was happening at the beginning of the football game, an impromptu fireworks display started. There was cheering and excitement and then the political court of Garfield High began bailing from the vehicle. From that point things only got more chaotic. Injuries formed, the class President caught fire, the Secretary was knocked unconscious, and panic spread like wildfire.

The nominations of the night go to Zac and Nicole.

Morning Chill
Monday remembers the passing of Emmett Earnshaw. He was found frozen in Greenlake by some supernatural force. The police aren’t releasing much information to the public, but they are causing a certain amount of prejudice toward parahumanity. There are a lot of people in the city of Seattle, a lot of needless violence, and a lot of bystanders that are caught in the crossfire. Our world is changing in ways that we are only beginning to understand, and fear is a large part of that process. We must move past that in order to survive as a race and as a planet.

Midday Flurry
Heavy snowfall hit a neighborhood just down the street from our high school, and just that neighborhood. It might be due to strange weather patterns that we have been experiencing this winter, or it could be due to the eighteen foot tall snow man seen fighting a small group of Power Rangers^TM. My personal favorite is the red one, but confidence is always an appealing trait.

Ice Queen
Chrinstine Crittendon… damn girl!

Speeder Overhead -

Something flew over my house today and I tried my best to get a good look at it, but it went by pretty fast. Beyond breaking the speed limit of twenty-five miles an hour in my neighborhood, I am pretty sure there are ordinances for flying vehicles within city limits. They were going toward the water, so maybe it was a good day to go fishing, or maybe they were on their way to their super secret underwater ultra base.
